NATIONAL NON-STOP SURYA NAMASKAR COMPETITION – 2026
Qualifying Round
Participants need to successfully complete 51 Continuous Surya Namaskars to become eligible for the Final Round.

A. Students, yoga practitioners, yoga teachers, fitness enthusiasts and members of the general public may participate. The competition is open to participants of all age groups.
Q. Is the competition open to participants from all parts of India?
A. Yes. Participants from all States and Union Territories of India may participate in the competition.
Q. What is the registration fee?
A. The registration fee is ₹500/- only.
Q. What is included in the ₹500 registration fee?
A. The registration fee includes participation in the 51 Surya Namaskar qualification challenge, access to Free Online Surya Namaskar Training Classes, competition preparation guidance, and the opportunity to play the Final after successfully completing 51 Surya Namaskars.
Q. How can I qualify to play the Final?
A. Participants must successfully complete 51 Continuous Surya Namaskars according to the prescribed competition guidelines. Participants who successfully complete 51 Surya Namaskars will be eligible to play the Final.
Q. Can I complete the 51 Surya Namaskars from home?
A. Yes. Participants may complete the 51 Surya Namaskar challenge from home through the official Surya Namaskar Facebook Group, subject to the prescribed submission and verification rules.
Q. Can I participate through Facebook Live?
A. Yes. Participants may complete their 51 Surya Namaskar performance through a Facebook Live session in the official Surya Namaskar Facebook Group, according to the competition guidelines.
Q. Can I submit a recorded video?
A. Yes. Participants may submit a recorded video of their 51 Surya Namaskar performance, provided that the video meets all prescribed recording, performance and verification requirements.
Q. What is the last date to complete the 51 Surya Namaskar challenge?
A. Participants may attempt and submit their 51 Surya Namaskar performance between 25 December and 31 December 2026.
Q. Will I receive a certificate after completing 51 Surya Namaskars?
A. Yes. Participants who successfully complete 51 Continuous Surya Namaskars will receive a National Competition Participation E-Certificate and a Three-Day Surya Namaskar Training E-Certificate, subject to successful verification.
Q. Is there any separate fee for playing the Final?
A. No. There is no separate fee for playing the Final. The ₹500 registration fee covers the participation process, and participants who successfully complete 51 Surya Namaskars can play the Final.
Q. What is the format of the Final?
A. The Final will be conducted as a 3-hour Non-Stop Surya Namaskar Challenge.
Q. How many Surya Namaskars must be completed in the Final?
A. Participants must complete a minimum of 750 valid Surya Namaskars during the 3-hour Final.
Q. Will participants get a break during the Final?
A. Yes. Participants will receive a 5-minute official break after every one hour of the competition.
Q. How many mistakes are allowed during the Final?
A. A maximum of 3 officially recorded mistakes will be allowed. If a participant receives a 4th officially recorded mistake, the participant will be disqualified from the Final.
Q. How will the winners be selected?
A. Winners will be selected on the basis of the highest number of valid Surya Namaskars completed during the 3-hour Final, subject to completing the minimum requirement of 750 valid Surya Namaskars and following all official competition and judging rules.
Q. What are the prizes for the winners?
A. The competition offers major cash prizes:

A. Yes. Registered participants will receive access to Free Online Surya Namaskar Training Classes to help them prepare for the 51 Surya Namaskar challenge and the Final.

A. Official competition updates, announcements, training information and important instructions will be shared through the ABYM official website, official WhatsApp communication and official Surya Namaskar Facebook Group.
Q. Where can I read the complete competition rules?
A. Participants should carefully read the complete Competition Guidelines before attempting the 51 Surya Namaskar challenge or playing the Final.
Q. What happens if my performance is not properly recorded or verified?
A. The performance may be rejected or may not be counted if it does not meet the prescribed recording, submission or verification requirements. Participants are responsible for following the official guidelines carefully.
Q. Can I participate if I am a beginner in Surya Namaskar?
A. Yes. Participants of different experience levels may participate. However, participants should prepare adequately and ensure that they are physically capable of performing Surya Namaskar safely for the required duration.
Q. Can participants of all age groups participate?
A. Yes. The competition is open to participants of all age groups, subject to the applicable competition rules and requirements.
Q. What should I do before attempting the 51 Surya Namaskar challenge?
A. Participants should practice the prescribed 12-step Surya Namaskar sequence, attend the available online training sessions, understand the competition guidelines and ensure that their performance can be clearly recorded and verified.
Q. Is the decision of the judging panel final?
A. Yes. The decision of the official judging and verification panel regarding performance validity, counting, mistakes, disqualification and final ranking shall be final and binding, subject to the official competition guidelines.
